Job Description:
Candidate will drive the instrumentation and support of PagerDuty with the expansion of the current deployment and maturity of the tool for the incident management response and AIOPs orchestration. This resource will be collaborating with CCoE, Architecture, and SRE teams to define and develop guidelines for a self-service on-call schedule management, integration with existing observability tools, and automation patterns for support teams. This resource will delve into the other toolset support, including define new capabilities and enabling playbook automation.

Responsibilities

Guide IT teams to manage and support their PagerDuty alerts, teams, schedules, escalation policies and automations.
Deliver best practice trainings to assist with the onboarding process.
Collaborate with other teams across IT to develop a new set of patterns to use for PagerDuty.
Responsible for the development of event management rules.
Ability to turn requirements into technical implementation and operational management.

Quals--
Requirements
Working knowledge of PagerDuty is required.
3+ years of relevant experience working in the observability, operations, or monitoring domains.
Understanding of IT infrastructure monitoring and observability best practices.
Working knowledge of Event Management rules development.
Hands on experience implementing monitoring solutions and involvement of end-to-end operational support.
ServiceNow Event management platform is desired
Strong presentation and communication skills.
