This DevOps Engineer position is responsible for enabling the adoption DevOps best practices through the administration and support of modern development tools. This role is critical to the availability and resilience of the development tools that orchestrate the delivery of application components to multiple environments. The individual in this role will also drive adoption of DevOps culture across the Enterprise through team engagements and coaching.

Field Engineer

The current job is the implementation of the new Zetron system in Companys OCC (Operations and Customer Center) and the installation of the Zetron media dock component in the RCC (Reliability Center). Zetron is the air to ground radio and phone system used by the OCC and ATL Radio.

The project is in two locations. At the RCC, the contractors will be removing the current and installing the new peripherals, as well as doing the necessary cable management and hookup of the new peripherals to the Zetron media dock.

At the OCC, the work consists of deinstallation of current Zetron at 199 positions and the subsequent installation of the new system at 225 positions. The schedule of work in the OCC will depend on the final cutover plan to be determined in the next two weeks. It is currently planned as 8 hour shifts, 5 days per week, working a rotating schedule Sunday through Saturday; the start times are unknown currently but likely to be 0600.

At the RCC, the equipment to be deinstalled and installed includes:
1. Speakers
2. Headsets
3. Handsets
4. USB hubs
5. Cabling for the items above.
6. Connection to the new media docks and jackboxes.

The equipment to be deinstalled and installed at the OCC includes:
1. Shelf unit to hold console
2. Console workstation (W10 MoM)
3. Media Dock
4. ACU unit
5. Jackboxes
6. Cable extenders
7. USB hub x2
8. Cable manager x2
9. Speakers

 Capable of leading projects to implement tools in CICD pipelines to aid in conducting Static Application Security Test (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Test (DAST) and Source Code Analysis (SCA) using VeraCode 
  Experience working with tools such as Sonatype nexus firewall and lifecycle to track and block risk 3rd- party components
  Work within the DevSecOps model to secure Containers, withing ROSA, Tekton and OpenShift pipelines

Essential Responsibilities*(System Test Engineer): Develop/create master test plans and related documents, test cases, and test schedules.
Execute test cases/scenarios across development projects. Test types to include functionality, user interface, regression, security, and user acceptance.

System Test Engineer is responsible for creating master test plans, test cases, and test schedules for the projects. Ensures established methodologies and standards are used in product testing. Integration Test Engineer has responsibility for providing mentoring support to the project team throughout the Development Lifecycle. This mentoring begins in the requirements development phase to ensure all requirements are both testable and verifiable, and continues through system test. The Integration Test Engineer is responsible for conducting Integration test and to support the implementation methodologies of new documented, standardized, repeatable testing processes. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with one to five years of experience in an IT testing environment and/or any equivalent combination of experience, EDUCATION / PERSONA, and/or training that enables the candidate to meet the entry requirements. The ideal candidate will possess the above plus previous airline experience. SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER IN TEST (SDET)

Design, develop, execute and maintain software to test the product/application
Define automation strategy, automation cases as well as Design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing in a programmatic manner
Participate in design and code inspections.
Propose improvements to our existing processes and build automated tools, libraries and utilities in order to improve the teams speed, quality and efficiency.
The testing code you write should expose defects in production level code as well as defects at the component and feature integration perspective
Work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end distributed web services
Own the design and implementation of tests that will help in end-to-end quality of major deliverables working closely with multiple engineers and teams to execute them
Integration of both the tests and infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline is also a key responsibility in this position
Contribute to agile development teams following 12 Factor application development principles

2 to 3 years of experience in Information Technology with expertise in test automation of applications from UI and API layer. Candidate should have hands on experience of writing, maintaining automated UI and APIs tests written in Java, JavaScript, C#, Python using various open-source testing libraries like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, etc. Hands on experience in OOPs languages like Java, C# and scripting languages like Python, Perl,Shell, Bash etc. Experience with API and Microservices testing and automation Knowledge and experience with Test Driven Development(TDD),Behavior Driven Development(BDD) with a testing framework like Cucumber,JBehave Hands on experience with one or more querying languages such SQL (preferred), Oracle, MySQL and/or No SQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB etc) Experience deploying applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes) Hands on experience in automating backend REST services including writing custom functions using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate,Cypress, Ready API etc. Hands on experience of building test automation framework from ground up using modular framework and design pattern like Page Object Model design pattern (POM) etc. Experience of working in distributed agile teams using agile frameworks such as SCRUM , SAFe, XP etc. Hands on experience of working with continues integration tools such Jenkins, Circle CI.
