The Absence Support Coordinator - IFS will support the In-Flight Service (IFS), division in managing absence logging processes in designated states. This role will partner with leaders at the GO and in bases to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Ensures accurate documentation in multiple databases, timely processing of absence status codes.
Use efficient data collection and processing methods to organize and disseminate information, generate reports to meet deadlines.
Utilizing an SOP and set of instructions, manually excuse absence codes and approve that excuse request in the MyTeam system. Update a PPT bank with new accruals in accordance with pre-set guidance.
This role will have no decision-making responsibility, as more complex cases will be reviewed by merit leaders.
Attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information (HIPAA) with professionalism and extreme discretion - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools - Must be able to interpret and follow a wide variety of laws, rules, codes and regulations.
