The Finance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting functions of the Cash Operations team. The finance specialist will work with various Company's and Treasury systems such as SAP, Quantum, Trax, MYSIS, Bloomberg, Redbridge, Client Mosaic and numerous bank portals.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
Execute FX trading and hedging, investments, currency exposure analysis and forecast.
Assist in managing Company's domestic and international operational banking relationships, managing daily cash positioning activities and payments across domestic and international banks for and on behalf of company and its subsidiaries.
Provide oversight for adequate funding of bank accounts to cover needs for AP, payroll, debt and lease payments, subsidiary and international account funding, and repatriations.
Maintain close relations with Client Mosaic investment portal and Clearwater Analytics for investment reporting and accounting.
Work closely with the banks to resolve discrepancies and produce monthly variance reports for bank fees.
Build and maintain a strong management relationship with Redbridge to ensure fees are not only charged, but also, applied properly.
Oversee the management of domestic U.S. bank portals, users, and entitlements.
Support Financial Plannings pre-close and close processes by preparing variance analyses of interest expense and interest income.
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for the Treasury function.
Respond to periodic audit requests made by both internal and external audit.
Oversee non-automated Treasury accounting activity including monthly financial close and reconciliations, areas covered include letters of credit, restricted cash, intercompany loans, foreign repatriations/funding, unapplied receipts, and depository concentration.
Monitor automated Treasury accounting activity related to cash investments, transfers between bank accounts, and transactions generated by domestic and international electronic bank statement processing.
Manage the preparation and analysis each month supporting the reclassification of outstanding checks/ACHs to appropriate liability account.
Support Cash Operations by working with Treasury Services to spearhead process automation and reporting.
Leads new and special projects to improve Treasury accounting and cash operations processes.
Must be proficient in the use of PC software including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
Requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and communication skills.
Should be detail oriented, able to work in a demanding, fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and execute assigned tasks in a complete and timely manner with minimal supervision.
Requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment and with individuals outside the department and outside the Company.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field strongly preferred.
A good understanding of financial and accounting concepts and their application as well as experience using SAP General Ledger System and a Treasury Management System would be a plus.
