Job Summary: The Project Specialist for uniforms reports directly to the Product Manager and will work closely with a cross-divisional working team to ensure the uniforms for all 64,000 frontline employees are a consistent representation of company's brand. The uniform teams goal is to ensure the uniforms are functional, comfortable and successful for the employees wearing them. The UBX project leaders role is to ensure not only that the uniforms are well-perceived by the employees but by the customers alike. This role works closely with Company's Brand team to ensure all uniform pieces and accessories follow brand guidelines as well as work with frontline leaders to guarantee employees are adhering to compliance requirements. Frontline employees are a representation of the brand and it is important that what they wear and how they present themselves matches the high class, professional experience customers expect when flying with the Airline. This role requires excellent communication skills (including the ability to have sensitive conversations with frontline employees), intense organization abilities, timeline building and adhering to, project managing and prioritization, event planning, price negotiating, budget consciousness and the ability to lead meetings/discussions with internal and external teams. This candidate needs to seamlessly manage multiple large projects at once, handle deadline pushes and rushes, proactively respond to change and have the ability to work with and lead discussions with many different key stakeholders within and outside of company to achieve success.
Job responsibilities: Support Product Manager on product specification forms for a team of designers, support product/design engagement sessions, support launching a recycling program across all divisions, receive in product samples and technical specifications, have industry knowledge on trends in the uniform industry. Provide weekly summary of status to Director on status of projects. Work closely with cross-divisional uniform working team inclusive of supply chain, communications, technical operations, in-flight service and airport customer service. Ensure alignment on wearing requirements between work groups and determine compromises when groups have differing viewpoints. Manage the relationship with the product designers, ensure any requested content/design changes are documented, launch document to report out design changes requested. Review requested design changes/garment additions from employees and work with supply chain and uniform supplier on new design options inclusive of creating samples, planning a wear test with uniformed employees and understanding the production timeline. Analyze focus group and survey data reports during and after wear tests to determine next steps. Review any public-facing communications, such as photos or videos that compose of frontline employees to approve uniform compliance. Attend photo and video shoots to review uniform compliance if frontline employees are participating. Plan and create focus groups and surveys for frontline employees to determine changes or additions employees would like to the uniforms. Engage the internal consumer insights and analytics team to analyze data related to employee or customer reviews of the uniforms. Partner with Airline's community engagement and sustainability teams to enhance recycling and charitable opportunities related to uniforms, such as recycling, upcycling and donating used garments.

Has experience creating Marketing collateral
Has experience building decks

2-3 years of work experience leading projects in a textile-related position or field
Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.); in-design preferred but not required
Ability to lead projects alone from start to finish; knowledge of texture, patterns, dyes and yarns

The Product Specialist will support the product manager to conceptualize, create and lead projects with the uniform design team for Airline's 60,000+ frontline employees. These Projects can include
